8 March 2018 - Women's Day ... is not only placed in the spotlight on this hemisphere, but also in the southern regions. The International Women's Day took place in Kpando. Present were the queen mother, an elder, the village head, a priestess, Brigitte Asfeen chairman K.H., Mawusé (responsible Embracing Life Agou Apégamé) and Kathleen Hales chairman of the project.

Our seamstresses and the literacy class from Agou - Gare participated in the whole event. The theme of this day was the importance of education. From the audience a single woman with four children was taken and similarities were made between chairman K. Hales. Studies of the chairman have made all the difference. Because of this, she found work, so that she could not only take care of her family but could start up a project like Embracing Life npo.

After the celebration in Kpando, the village head and the queen asked mother if we could build another school with three classes. This also means recruting teachers, cause in their own classes there's only one teacher who visits a class every hour and puts the pupils to work. There is also the demand for a well for drinking water! So there is still work to be done !!!
